What is Manual Therapy?
Manual Therapy involves hands-on techniques to help resolve tightness, improve spinal alignment, decrease pain, and restore mobility. Sessions will vary based on patient needs and may focus on localized restrictions, drivers of dysfunction, or full body alignment and symmetry. Please speak with your therapist about your specific treatment goals.
How does this differ from Massage Therapy?
Manual Therapy is not a "feel good" treatment. It is completed with purpose, to not only make you feel better, but move more efficiently. Manual Therapy addresses restrictions in both soft tissues and joints.
Manual Therapy Techniques:
Fascial Mobilization
Joint Mobilization
Cupping
Soft/Deep Tissue Massage
Visceral Mobilization
Neural Mobilization
